During the days leading up to the fall of Afghanistan, many believed that reaching Kabul Airport was the key to escaping the country via plane. Photos and documentaries capturing those moments are still available in the media.
However, getting to Kabul Airport was fraught with challenges. I waited, and according to the news, international organizations were sending confidential messages and making arrangements, but I never received any such message.
The legal process of migration and seeking asylum is inherently difficult and time-consuming. My unfamiliarity with the legal migration pathways and limited proficiency in English prevented me from succeeding. All I could do was send numerous emails to international organizations and tag relevant entities on social media.
Most international organizations do not provide services outside their own borders and often advise visiting their local offices in Tehran. Unfortunately, even those offices have not been responsive
Additionally, links were sent that were difficult for me to understand, as they required a strong command of the English language and thorough knowledge of the steps and processes involved.
Besides sending multiple emails, I managed to amplify my voice by posting several times on social media and using hashtags like #hooshko and #هوشکو. Although there was significant sympathy expressed online, these efforts were not very effective.
As a result, I decided to create my personal website to showcase my activities and life story. I have some basic experience in website design and am relatively familiar with the process. I uploaded all the necessary information and content to the site.
