A round-the-clock effort from zero to one hundred to build the Erfan Film brand — a journey shaped by passion, creativity, and the desire to tell stories that matter.
It all started with a simple camera. I was very passionate about photography and videography, but had no support. I took the initiative and found out about a union led by Mr. Maher.
With persistence, I learned the basics and professional skills. I started by helping others carry their gear, slowly learning to film, and eventually charging small fees for short videos.
Over time, I became known in Herat. My first shop was just a 2-meter space under stairs, later becoming a 30m² studio with better gear and services.
I began offering photography, editing, and online services like visa registration and photo printing. I worked for nearly five years nonstop, covering local weddings and events.
Eventually, under the brand “Erfan”, I worked with artists, singers, TV channels, doctors, and more. I even filmed exclusive content for productions and local television.
The true joy is when you start from zero and reach professionalism.
Professional activity led to acquaintance and project collaboration with television artists and singers in the music sector.
It felt great to be active, collaborate, and capture moments from conferences and conventions with teachers, doctors, engineers, and athletes in attendance.
